About Us

We’re Jenna and Kaleb Orrock—Midwestern natives turned mountain adventurers turned proud resort owners—thrilled to welcome you to Pine Terrace Resort.

Our story began at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, where we met as business students. After graduating in 2016, we traded city life for the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. There, we built a life centered around the outdoors, running successful Airbnb rentals and meeting travelers from all walks of life. Jenna launched a marketing agency serving U.S. manufacturers, while Kaleb worked as a professional fly fishing guide. But no matter what we were doing, we always came back to the joy we felt when hosting people—helping them relax, laugh, explore, and make memories together.

That love of hospitality, along with a long-held dream to run a resort in Minnesota or Wisconsin, led us back to the Midwest in 2025 with our son and our dog in tow.

The first time we set foot on the grounds of Pine Terrace Resort, we knew we had found something special. Nestled among the pines on a quiet peninsula, the resort had a peaceful charm that was impossible to ignore. Impeccably cared for and beloved by generations of returning guests, it wasn’t just a place to stay—it was a tradition. And we knew right away: this was where we were meant to be.

Our vision for Pine Terrace is rooted in gratitude and guided by purpose. We are committed to maintaining everything guests already love about this Northwoods gem—the quiet mornings on the lake, the cabin porch conversations, the campfires, the wildlife, and the time spent truly unplugging. At the same time, we’re bringing our own energy and creativity to make each season even more memorable.
