Five Lakes. Trophy Fish. Endless Fishing Possibilities.

When you stay at Pine Terrace Resort, you're not just staying on one great fishing lake. You're getting access to five connected lakes, each offering a different fishing experience and plenty of opportunities to land something memorable.

Located on the Ossawinnamakee Lake Chain in Crosslake, Minnesota, Pine Terrace Resort sits on Star Lake, with access to four additional lakes waiting to be explored. Whether you're chasing trophy northern pike, looking for quality bass, filling a bucket with crappies, or teaching your kids how to catch their first bluegill, there's a fishing spot for everyone.

And the best part? You never have to leave the resort to explore them all.

We have fishing boats and pontoons available to rent, or you're welcome to bring your own.

Star Lake: The Heart of the Action

Star Lake is the heart of Pine Terrace Resort and the largest lake in the chain. It's where you'll find kids catching panfish off the dock all afternoon, families cruising the shoreline, and serious anglers chasing trophy fish.

With deep water, steep drop-offs, weed edges, current, and plenty of underwater structure, Star Lake offers the kind of habitat that trophy fish love.

Its clear, cold, oxygen-rich water and relatively limited fishing pressure help support a healthy fishery with legitimate trophy potential. It's a great place to target 40-inch-plus northern pike, along with quality largemouth and smallmouth bass.

Another advantage? Pine Terrace Resort has the only boat access to this upper lake chain. That means less time navigating boat traffic and more time doing what you came here to do: fish.

Little Star Lake: Don't Let the Name Fool You

Just beyond Star Lake, you'll find Little Star Lake. While it's smaller, it offers some fantastic fishing opportunities.

It's a favorite for anglers looking for consistent action, with opportunities to catch large crappies, quality bass, and dependable northern pike.

Work the shoreline slowly, explore the weed edges, and take your time. Little Star is the kind of lake that rewards anglers who are willing to slow down and find where the fish are holding.

Little Round Lake: Small Lake, Big Opportunity

Compact, easy to explore, and fun to fish, Little Round Lake offers a completely different experience from the larger lakes in the chain.

Throw crankbaits, plastics, or live bait and work your way around the shoreline. It's a great lake for targeting bass and pike, and a fantastic place to introduce kids or newer anglers to fishing for predator species.

Sometimes the best fishing memories come from a smaller lake, a simple tackle setup, and a fish that puts up a surprisingly good fight.

Little Beaver Lake: A Quiet Escape

Little Beaver Lake is another favorite worth exploring, especially if you enjoy a quieter fishing experience.

We have rowboats available for free guest use, making it easy to spend an afternoon exploring the shoreline. You can work your way around the entire lake, casting for largemouth bass while keeping an eye out for northern pike.

Little Beaver is also known for some excellent crappie fishing in the area. It's a great option when you're looking to get away from the bigger water and enjoy a slower day on the lake.

Lake Henry: A Hidden Fishing Gem

If you're looking for a truly quiet fishing experience, Lake Henry is worth the short adventure.

Tie up your boat or paddleboard across Star Lake, follow the short trail through the woods, and you'll discover one of the most secluded fisheries in the area. There's even a rowboat waiting for you!

Lake Henry is catch-and-release only, making it a special place to spend some time chasing bass and northern pike. With limited access and a peaceful setting, it's an opportunity to enjoy fishing without another boat in sight.

Make Fishing Part of Your Pine Terrace Vacation

Five lakes mean five different fishing experiences, and you don't have to be a seasoned angler to enjoy them.

Whatever brings you to the water, we're happy to help point you in the right direction.

We'll share what's biting, where the fish are holding, and what we'd tie on if we were heading out ourselves. From fishing tips to helping you choose the right lake for the day, we're always happy to help you make the most of your time on the water.

Because around here, fishing isn't just something you do on vacation. It's part of what Pine Terrace Resort has been about for generations.
