We are Landon & Shannon Routledge and we welcome you to Pine Terrace Resort!
We love the richness of this resort from the hard working heritage past owners have ingrained in the land. They’ve created such a special family-oriented space to create memories on Star Lake, that has become a rarity.
Landon grew up on two different resorts off and on since he was 3 years old, and has helped operate Pine Terrace for 14 years alongside his parents, Steve & Jayne, making improvements every year in order to make the vacation experience better for the guests! Building Cabin 13, overhauling the store & game rooms, revamping the beach and playground areas, and still managing to make friends with many of their guests. He enjoys visiting with all guests and can show you how to start a good campfire, and even help you find a fishing spot on the lake if you ask him. Caring for guests is in his nature/blood.
Shannon has also been involved in business with family since high school. Growing up on a family farm and originally from Colorado; she moved to Minnesota with her family as they combined elk herds with her uncle. She’s helped her parents start a salon and rental properties in Little Falls, where she cherished meeting and getting to know all guests. You'll find out quickly that, while no, she can’t do your hair because she only did the reception/business side of the salon, you will be able to talk her into pointing you in the right direction of some of our local favorite salons. Working with family and serving guests only prepared Shannon for the adventure of operating Pine Terrace Resort with Landon.
Landon and Shannon were married on 10.10.2020 here at Pine Terrace Resort in a tent along the lakeshore of Star Lake. We were friends for 8 years before any sparks flew, but when you know, you know! What you really want in life is to marry your best friend, and we are blessed in knowing that we have that in each other. We now enjoy watching families create memories on Star Lake, disconnecting from the busyness of the world, and reconnecting with family and friends around a campfire. We plan for Pine Terrace to only continue this legacy where families can enjoy their time together on the lake, resting and having fun together. We hope to meet you and welcome you to your lake getaway here at Pine Terrace Resort!
